The student film Pike, Stephen Grace, not drive cars due to the trauma of losing his brother in a car accident. He befriends, Quaid, that since the age of 6 suffered terrible nightmares and daydreams about the death of their parents. Quaid proposes that research on each one deepest fear. Stephen sees the chance to develop an original thesis to the Faculty and invites his friend, Cheryl, to work with them. Among the interviewees, Stephen conversation with his colleague, Abby who works with him in the library. Abby has a complex about the way it is. When the work is almost complete, Quaid has a blast in an interviewed and ultimately destroy the camera and editing equipment. Stephen begins to reassess the situation.

"Castor" follows the life of depressed toy Executive Walter Black (Gibson) who, after being kicked out by his wife, takes on a new persona to better communicate through a beaver hand puppet. His wife (Foster) and his son (Yelchin) are skeptical, but try to accept Walter as a favor to his youngest son, who loves castor. Leaving her home to move into a hotel, Walter is a beaver hand puppet with their belongings packed. After suicide attempts of unsucessful, Walter is knocked unconscious by a large TV in your room. He wakes up with his Beaver puppet on his hand that Walter gives a voice type Michael Caine. The informers Beaver Walter he'll straighten it. Giving cards to all and sundry that he is under the care of a puppet, the Beaver gives Walter confidence to restart a relationship with her young son and wife, as well as transforming your toy company in an succsseful operation by producing a wood kit for children. Impressed with the beaver is the eldest son of Walter that shares many of the same mental problems as his father.
